I'm stationed in Germany and my fiance is in the states, will time zones affect us getting married?

Not at all. No matter the time of day, both you and your fiance can use our notary service 24/7. So while it may be 9am in Germany and 3am in New York, our notaries are ready at any time to complete your paperwork. We will be able to process all application when the clerk of courts in Montana opens for business which is 9am Mountain.

I'm not a US citizen, can I use your notary?

Only U.S. citizens are able to use our notaries at this time. But we are implementing a new notary service and should have it available 1st quarter of next year.

How long does the whole process take?

The application takes about 30 minutes. If you submit your paperwork before 2pm MST Monday through Friday, we can have your marriage certificate completed and emailed to you the same business day. Applications submitted on evenings or weekends are processed the next business morning.

Can I get married if my partner and I are in two different countries?

That is exactly what double proxy marriage is for. Neither you nor your partner needs to be present. Our proxies stand in for both of you to sign the marriage license in Montana. You can be in South Korea and your partner can be in the Philippines, it does not matter.

Can I marry someone who is not a US citizen?

Yes. Your partner can be a foreign national living anywhere in the world. The only difference is that your partner will need to find a local notary in their area to notarize their portion of the paperwork. Once that is done, we handle everything else.
